Competence Privacy Policy
Competence (“the app”) does not collect personal information.

Information we collect
None. There is no account, and the app does not access your name, email address, location or device identifiers.

Information stored on your device
Your focus history, your towns, your study materials and study log, and your settings (language, haptics, screen) are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers. If you use device backup (iCloud or Google backup), the operating system includes them in that backup. “Export data” in Settings puts this data into a single file and hands it to the place you choose; the file is never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes this data from your device.

Photos
The app adds a town image to your photo library only when you choose “Save Image” in the share sheet. It never reads your photo library.

Sharing
Town images are passed only to the destination you choose in the share sheet. That service's own policy applies there.

Do Not Disturb (Android)
Only if you turn on “Silence notifications while focusing” in Settings and allow Do Not Disturb access, the app switches Do Not Disturb on when you start focusing and back when you finish. It never reads your notifications, and you can withdraw the permission in the device settings at any time.

In-app purchases
Purchases in the shop and their payment are handled by the App Store or Google Play; we never receive your payment details. The app asks the store which items you own and keeps the result on your device.

Ads and analytics
None. The app does not track you.

The app collects no personal information from users of any age.
